Print Specifications

What is the size of the print?

The print will be 8 x 10 inches (20.3 x 25.4 cm) total with a 0.25 inch (0.64 cm) white border around the top and sides of each image in the print. Additional white space at the bottom of each print will be for photographer signatures depending on the aspect ratio of each image.

Are the prints a part of a limited edition?

Signed prints are only available until April 28, 2018 at 12 midnight EST. They are not a part of a limited edition based on quantity.

Where are the photographers’ signatures on the print?

Each print will be signed by the photographer on the front of the print, below the right side of the image.

How do I know the print is authentic?

Each print will be delivered with a letter declaring the location, date, and name of the photographer from National Geographic Creative.

What type of printer is used to produce the print?

A Light Jet 430 printer by Colours Imaging.

What type of paper is used to produce the print?

Matte Fuji Crystal Archive paper.

What are the reproduction rights of the print?

We ask that you remember and respect that the copyright in the photograph remains with the artist and you do not attempt to reproduce or license this photograph.

Order Processing

What types of payment are accepted?

Credit card or PayPal.

What are the costs for shipping?

Shipping and handling for orders within the United States will be $15. Shipping and handling for international orders will be $20. Please note that the shipping costs do not include Duties and Taxes.

How do I change an order?

Orders can only be cancelled during the time of the Flash Sale (until April 28, 2018 at midnight EST) and new orders can be placed. Please note that the refunding of orders may take up to 7 business days and processing by your bank may further delay a refund. For more information on refunds, please see the section on Refunds and Returns.

There is a website error preventing my order from processing. What do I do?

Please email NGCreativeFlashSale@natgeo.com with a description of the difficulties you encountered and include a screenshot, if possible.

Shipping

What is the cost of shipping?

Each print shipped within the domestic US will cost $15 in shipping and handling. Each print shipped internationally will cost $20 in shipping and handling. Each additional print will cost $5 per order.

What shipping methods are available?

All orders are shipped from within the US. Orders from within the US will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail. All orders placed outside of the US will be shipped via APC Postal Logistics.

What is the estimated time for delivery?

As these museum-quality photographs are printed and hand signed by each photographer to order, please allow for 4-6 weeks for delivery. Customs clearance may delay the delivery of your package.

How will the package arrive?

Each print will be shipped in a rigid envelop.

What are the contents of the package?

Each print will be accompanied by a letter within a 8.75 x 11.5 inch envelope. The letter will include the print location, date, and name of the photographer.

What if the product arrives damaged?

If your print arrived damaged, please keep all packaging material. The courier may request to review the packaging material as a part of the claims process. Email NGCreativeFlashSale@natgeo.com within 7 days of receipt and include a description and images of the damage.

How do I track the delivery of my package?

You will receive an email with the tracking number of your package once it ships.

What if my shipping address changes after the print is purchased?

Please email NGCreativeFlashSale@natgeo.com with your order number, previous address, and updated address.

Customs

Are customs fees and value added tax included in my order?

Customs fees and/or value added tax are not included in your order. When your package arrives in the country of delivery, it may incur an import tax. National Geographic Creative is not responsible for import fees, duty fees, custom fees or taxes that you may be charged upon arrival of your package.

Will my package be inspected by customs authorities?

The packages may be inspected by customs authorities, and National Geographic Creative may have to provide order, shipment, and product information to the courier to facilitate the customs clearance.

Refunds and Returns

Will you compensate for my taxes and duties if I return the package to National Geographic Creative?

National Geographic Creative cannot compensate your taxes and duties. You may contact your shipping courier for assistance in exporting the product to us.

What is your refund policy?

Refunds cannot be issued after 7 days from the receipt of your package. You must return the print undamaged and in the original packaging for a refund. If you are unhappy with the print, you may return it undamaged. Shipping costs will not be refunded. Send the print to:

We strongly suggest that the print be sent with Delivery Confirmation. If National Geographic Creative does not receive your return, we cannot issue a refund.

Refunds on returns will be based on the daily exchange rate of the date purchased. Once the return is received and inspected, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

You are responsible for paying your own shipping costs for the return of your purchase, and shipping costs are non-refundable.

Items that are returned to us as non-deliverable or returned after the courier has made their maximum number of delivery attempts will be treated as a return. Shipping charges will be charged again for order replacements.

My refund was approved, but I have not seen it applied to my bank account. What is the status of my refund?

Once refunds are submitted, it may take 10 business to apply to your account. If after 10 business days, you still have not seen the refund processed, contact your credit card company. They may require additional time to process the refund. If the credit card company does not have a record of the refund, contact NGCreativeFlashSale@natgeo.com.

Can I exchange my print?

Exact exchanges can be made only on damaged or defective prints. If your print arrived damaged, please keep all packaging material. The courier may request to review the packaging material as a part of the claims process. Email NGCreativeFlashSale@natgeo.com within 7 days of receipt and include a description and images of the damage.
